No special hardware is required — agents can take calls from a softphone app, browser, or existing desk phone connected via SIP. And yes, in most cases you can port your existing business number into Buel, or add new virtual local/toll-free numbers alongside it, including numbers for countries outside your own if you serve international customers.

You set up a menu (e.g., “Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Support”) with custom greetings, and Buel automatically routes the caller to the right extension, ring group, or queue based on their choice. If no one answers, fallback rules can send the call to voicemail, another team, or back into a queue — so calls don’t get dropped.

Yes — Buel can record every inbound and outbound call automatically, with easy playback from the dashboard. This is commonly used for quality checks, training, and resolving disputes, alongside reports on call volume, duration, and disposition (answered, missed, busy, voicemail, etc.).
